The blue looks like marble to me … perhaps the girl has been so blue for so long that she gradually became a blue marble statue.

I love artwork that tells me stories … whether they are the stories the artist had in mind or only what my mind thinks up … this painting tells a story. Very well done.

I love the concept of a fawn wanting to fly … and having those gorgeous pastel fairy wings!

Anyone who has seen a real deer run believes they can fly magically! They are so graceful and they do look to me anyway as if they are flying! .. and going over farmer fences … oh my … a marvel of motion! Reminds me of the morning I went deer hunting with my ex husband a hundred years ago [it seems like it anyway - over 20 for a reality check] … I could only stand there and stare in awe at the gorgeous creatures … I did not shoot one … I could not do it … too graceful and gorgeous. They did look as if they were flying that morning in the misty fog at 6 AM of an Iowa autumn the day deer hunting season opened [yes I was carrying around a shotgun that I knew how to shoot ... at targets].
