This artwork is brilliant and full of emotional genius. It is excellent concept art and brilliantly executed technically! I recognize the genius of the artwork and I admire the artist’s talent.

I don’t like the scene portrayed … at all. I find it incredibly painful.

This view of a child standing outside an old and worn building with a black interior surrounded by a gloomy muddy blue-gray sea on a gloomy grayish day is completely evocative of exactly how I felt as a child who was being severely physically and emotionally abused.

I would not want to live with this painting on my walls :) … it is too dark and gothic for me … but great art makes people think and feel … and this landscape does exactly that … very well.
