Over Iron Fence is a dark, brooding, Gothic feeling landscape. The color harmony and balance are fantastic. Very well done!

This is not the alien landscape where I would want to visit let alone to live there but it is an arresting image that captures you into examining it and thinking of what those absent “people” might have done for their world to become this nightmare of desolation.

It definitely made me think of where we might be taking our world if we are not careful and start conserving energy and resources. Great art makes me think and this certainly qualifies.

This landscape would be right at home in a video game or on the wall of a home of an art lover of surreal landscapes in this style. The mat and frame add to the stark loneliness I see portrayed in this alien world. This is part of a Garden series by the artist. All the images are disturbing and do a great job of making me feel and think. That is what great art does and why it is great art.

I am not usually much for goth art or spiders of any kind - real or art (except at Halloween - that’s different!)

But I like the way this was done - it is well balanced and very unique - the spider legs are echoing the spider webs to me and help move the eye through and around the picture.

The black frame and white mat help focus the eye directly on the painting. Very good presentation of excellent artwork.

I’m really glad that she didn’t choose a red mat or frame - I think that would have been way over the top for this scene but if you want red, at Imagekind, you can select the mat and frame combination for your Fine Art Print (or poster) that is right for you.
