I happen to love stuffed animals … they are a fabulous gift for me any holiday so I can speak with authority as a Mom expecting a Mother’s Day gift this year - stuffed animals are cute, cuddly and adorable … they make great pets too … no clean up … no walking them … no noise … except when you buy noisy stuffed animals - I do have a stuffed dog that barks [my daughter bought it for me one Christmas]… I bought my daughter a stuffed frog one year that croaked as a fun joke gift … she loved it and laughed a lot … for Valentine’s Day, I bought her a stuffed animal with a baby .. was it a bear? Not sure … but they are gorgeously fluffy and look marvelous on the sofa table.

Stuffed animal noise makers … they don’t HAVE to be noisy … we can choose if they are noisy or not … whereas … Miss Sugar Plum .. she chooses if she is going to bark or not … and for how long.

And if you don’t think stuffed animals would be a good idea for your Mom or Grandma … there is always the standby that nearly ALL Moms love to get … flowers … or maybe one of my other favorites too .. chocolate in a new coffee cup with the family latest pictures on them?

Today’s featured art is The Unicorn and the Painted Lady Butterfly by Patricia Ann Rizzo

This is a gorgeous painting full of life and movement. The clouds look as if a storm is rolling in towards them.

The dark rolling clouds in the distance contrast the light foreground very well and moves the eye through the painting. I can see the wind ruffling the unicorn’s mane and tail gently which is another indication the storm has not arrived yet.

The mat and frame echo the colors in the painting and are a good choice but you can choose a different mat and frame if you want when you buy this fine art print at Imagekind.
