This is a gorgeous painting full of life and movement. The clouds look as if a storm is rolling in towards them.
The dark rolling clouds in the distance contrast the light foreground very well and moves the eye through the painting. I can see the wind ruffling the unicorn’s mane and tail gently which is another indication the storm has not arrived yet.
